The Owens Corning Pinnacle Awards recognize exemplary performance and commitment to choices made within the past year in an effort to make the world a better place. One of those categories being ‘Community,’ which is a founding principle of Legacy’s company constitution: ‘Giving Back To The Communities We Serve.’
These nomination-based awards align closely with Owens Corning’s Core Values and recognize companies that not only show spirit within their businesses but extend it to the communities in which they live – through philanthropic endeavors and charitable efforts. Winners are chosen by the Platinum Advisory Board and Owens Corning Sales Leadership.
This March, Legacy Restoration was overjoyed to be awarded the 2020 Pinnacle Community Award for our collective 2019 give back initiatives! This included our work in Minnesota, Colorado and Illinois with Volunteer’s of America’s Foster Care Programs and the Josephine Lilly World Memorial Scholarship Foundation. Along with local market projects with DuPage Pads, Feed My Starving Children, Project C.U.R.E., Roof Deployment Project, Habitat for Humanity and many more. Receiving this award now makes 3 consecutive years for Legacy to be recognized by our industry and peers for our service to the community (2018 Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor Spirit Award, NRCA CNA Community Involvement Award 2019 and 2020 Owen’s Corning Pinnacle Community Award).
With a focus on providing hope and comfort for children in foster care and providing support for families transitioning from the foster system back into regular family settings, Legacy looks forward to increasing our give back initiatives as we continue to grow and finding additional ways to positively impact the lives of others!
