Volunteers of America – Minnesota and Wisconsin Welcomes Owner of Legacy Restoration As New Board Member

Volunteers of America-Minnesota and Wisconsin, a nonprofit health and human services organization, recently elected Scott Mullins to its Board of Directors.

A life-long builder, Mr. Mullins is an owner of Legacy Restoration and Mullins Enterprises, LLC. He began his Minneapolis property restoration career in 2005 and over the past several years, has distinguished himself as a leader in the Property Claims space, working closely with insurance companies and policy holders in numerous capacities to bring the best resolution and policy oriented practices.

Mr. Mullins worked alongside his grandfather and uncle from a young age through college graduation, learning the traits that established a strong foundation for the values of quality workmanship and an uncompromising standard for excellence in the details of a job.

After graduating from Indiana University, Mr. Mullins began a successful career in banking as an analyst, commercial lender, and business development Leader. That experience also served him well as he pursued the entrepreneurial projects that led to company ownership.

We coordinated the efforts of nearly 1,800 volunteers, who contributed over 120,000 hours of service. We offer housing and dining services that provide dignityfor older adults and those with special needs. We provide education, and mental health treatment and counseling that bring hope to children, youth and families. We operate two residential reentry facilities and other corrections-based services that promote self-reliance for adult offenders and ex-offenders. We are a non-profit, faith-based affiliate of the national Volunteers of America organization, which like us, was founded in 1896. For more information, visit either www.voamn.org or www.voawi.org.
