Legacy Restoration was honored to receive a CNA/NRCA Community Involvement Award during the International Roofing Expo (IRE) last week! This award was based on our charitable efforts completed over the year through Volunteers of America of – Minnesota and Wisconsin and Volunteers of America Colorado. A few of these efforts included donating 100 handmade tie blankets to foster children and families in transitional living situations, adopting 21 families to provide Christmas gifts for during the holiday season, donating 50 bike / helmet and lock sets through JT’s Bikes for Kids and making meals for over 150 individuals in need of a nutritious snack outside of The Mission’s daily hot meals. Legacy has been dedicated to assisting VOA since 2014, and they are now a national charitable partner which means each of our markets gives back to their causes locally as well.
Thanks to National Roofing Contractors Association and CNA, we will be presenting Volunteers of America with a $5,000 check! The roofing industry as a whole is very gracious with their give back efforts, and it is great to see this being recognized.
